Hello Parents!
We are extremely excited to announce that we are launching a new program for children this summer. Our art program will consist of 9 weekly lessons that will take place over summer vacation.
For younger children (ages 5-8), we offer a beginner class that teaches children basic art techniques such as drawing shapes/lines, colouring inside the lines, etc. For older children (ages 8-12), we offer an advanced class that is self-directed within the parameters of a project theme (e.g. paint a river). Students will be provided support where needed.
Just like our piano program, each lesson is $10. However, if you can't afford this, we will cover the cost of all your lesson fees, and will provide you with art supplies, a phone stand, and supplies credit totaling around $80 in value. We're able to do this through the generous support of the Calgary Youth Foundation, a program of Youth Central.
