Details
Commitment: Weekly, half-hour lessons for one season (11 weeks). The summer season runs from June to August, the fall season runs from September to November, the winter season runs from December to February, and the spring season runs from March to May. You are welcome to apply in the middle of a season.
Location: Currently only available online due to COVID-19.
Student Experience: Ranging from absolute beginner to RCM Level 2.
Lesson Type: Private piano lessons.​​
Qualifications: Completed RCM Level 8 or above practical and theory exams.
Age: Youth ages 15 or higher.
FAQ's
​​​Q: I didn't formally take an exam, but I'm doing or have passed RCM Grade 8. Am I still eligible to apply?
A: We strive to have all volunteers pass at least the level eight practical exam. However, if you think that you are eligible to teach but do not exactly meet the qualifications, fill out the form and we will evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
Q: I'm using another curriculum, and I'm not with the RCM. Can I still apply?
A: We recognize that some people are enrolled in other programs, while others may be self-taught. Once again, please complete the form and we will evaluate you separately.
